Q: Leader: Did God create man so wicked and perverse?
A: All: No. God created man good and in his own image, that is, in true righteousness and holiness, so that he might truly know God his creator, love him with all his heart, and live with him in eternal happiness for his praise and glory.

Q: Leader: Then where does man’s corrupt nature come from?
A: All: From the fall and disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, in Paradise. This fall has so poisoned our nature that we are born sinners — corrupt from conception on.

Q: Leader: But are we so corrupt that we are totally unable to do any good and inclined toward all evil?
A: All: Yes, unless we are born again, by the Spirit of God.

PCGS BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE:  We are excited to be able to share with you an update on the Pella Christian Grade School building project. With roughly $10.9 million pledged to our campaign, we’re only $100,000 away from completing phase 3 of the project. To help us close out phase 3, as well as get a huge jump-start on phase 4, the final phase of the building project, a generous donor has given us a matching gift challenge. From now until the end of the school year, Friday, May 25, donations to the building project will be matched dollar for dollar! We want to say a special thank you to the over 650 donors who have already given to the project. Please prayerfully consider what you can give to help meet our goals and take advantage of this matching gift. New matching gift forms are available for you on the table in the back of church to take and fill out or at the school office. We ask that you would fill this out and turn back into the school before Friday, May 25. Our hope is that we’ll be able to have an open house this fall where we can show off our new space. Lastly, please continue to keep PCGS in your prayers and consider connecting with others to share our mission and this amazing opportunity. We pray that God will continue to bless PCGS and you as you bless others – impacting our world for Christ for generations to come. Thank you!

NOTE:  If you missed the PCGS building project video shown before the prelude this morning, it will be shown again next Sunday around 9:21 a.m. or you can watch it at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pGOy535P975gt_NF5ptCjcK4oTHAco-I/view
