CRC NEWS AND PRAYER ITEMS

GROUNDWORK: Faith and Anxiety – Whether worry affects your daily life in big or small ways, the Bible speaks to our experiences with anxiety.  Join us as we study Matthew 6:25-34 and Philippians 4:4-9 to discover how our faith and God’s peace empower us to confront and more effectively respond to our anxieties. Listen now at GroundworkOnline.com

KIDS CORNER: Don’t Fence Me In – Why do games always have to have rules?  Help Liz and Grandpa figure out what’s right about rules!  Listen now at kidscorner.net.  Download God’s Got You Covered:  Stories and Advice about Divorce, an eBook to help kids and parents talk about divorce.

FAMILY FAITH FORMATION TIP: Asking “How was your day?” might get you a one-word answer from your kids.  Instead, ask, “What were the best and worst parts of your day?”  You’ll be surprised by what you learn if you ask this question regularly, and the answers will give you things to pray about together.
