TODAY: Welcome to Worship!  We welcome all who worship with us today.

Fellowship coffee is served downstairs at 9:00 a.m.

We invite all visitors and all members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs immediately after the morning worship service.

There will be no church school today or next Sunday.  Classes resume on January 6.

At 6:00 p.m. we will join First CRC and Faith CRC at First CRC for worship, including a candlelight service with communion.  Pastor Ryan Faber will be preaching on Luke 2:1-14.

NEXT SUNDAY: Next Sunday morning Pastor Will Verhoef will lead our worship service.

At 6:00 p.m. First CRC, Faith CRC and Calvary CRC will join us at our church for our annual Old Year’s Service.  Jeremy Engbers (Youth Director at Faith with license to exhort) will deliver the sermon.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY:  We wish a happy birthday to Ray Veenstra who will celebrate his 84th birthday on December 29, and pray for God’s continued blessings.

PERK UP will not meet until after the first of the year.

CHOIR SCHEDULES:  Our next regular Children’s Choir rehearsal (for 1st-6th Graders) will be Wednesday, January 9, 6:30-6:55 p.m.

Our next regular Adult Choir rehearsal will be Wednesday, January 9, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

YEAR END GIVING:  Christmas Day will be the last opportunity to contribute for 2018. – The Deacons

The Distinctively Healthy Church Annual Event – January 12, Faith CRC, Pella.  You are invited to a one-day equipping conference on the life-changing impact of connecting the generations in your congregation to each other.  We’ll explore what each age group brings to the table, as well as what they need from their church family.  We’ll also discuss how intentional intergenerational ministry can be a catalyst for community outreach and church growth.  Opportunities for discussion and ministry planning with your team are built into the day!  Dr. Syd Hielema (formerly a ministry professor at Dordt; now leader of Faith Formation Ministries) will present a keynote address, and several workshops will be offered.  (This event is put on by the Connections Project and Faith Formation Ministries.)
