TODAY: Welcome to Worship!  We welcome all who worship with us today!

Fellowship coffee is served downstairs at 9:00 a.m.

C4C (Children for Christ) meets this morning on 3rd floor. Children 3 years old-PreKindergarten will be dismissed after the offering.  Visitors are also welcome!  Parents may pick up their child after the service. Today’s leader is Bev De Vries.

We invite visitors and members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs after the morning worship service.

Church School Classes will meet from 10:50 to 11:35 a.m.

At 4:30 p.m. we will meet downstairs to go caroling.  This is for all ages, and will be followed by pizza, and cookie decorating for the kids.  Please sign up downstairs.

NEXT SUNDAY:  Our Children’s Christmas Program will be part of the morning worship service on December 15.

Our Christmas Candlelight Service will be held on December 15 at 6:00 p.m.  Please join us for this special musical worship service.  Childcare will be provided.

NAME CHANGE:  The Name Change Task Force thanks the congregation for their submissions regarding a new name for Pella II.  After careful consideration we have narrowed down the list to four possible options.  The letter in your church mailbox lists these names as well as how to give the committee thoughts and feedback on the options.  We would appreciate your feedback by December 22.

FROM THE DEACONS:

Year-End Giving Deadline:  The last Sunday to put your Pella II offerings toward 2019 giving is December 29.  The deacons will be working on year-end count and preparing members’ giving receipts after that date.  Thank you!

CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR MISSIONARIES:  It is the time of year to remember Pella II’s missionaries with Christmas cards. Collection boxes are available in the church basement through December 15 for Joel & Jeanie Huyser, Doug & Benita Le Mahieu, Lloyd & Nancy Peckham and Justin Van Zee. No postage or envelopes are needed. Mission Outreach will handle the mailing.  Missionaries often tell us that they enjoy getting cards from Pella II.  Please show them your support with a card.

THE PELLA PRO-LIFE COOKIE SALE is Thursday, December 12.  Boxes of delicious decorated cookies will be sold at Ulrich’s Meat Market, 715 Franklin Street, from Noon to 5:30 p.m.  We appreciate your support for Life!

Peoria Christian School Christmas Program is Friday, December 13, at 7:00 p.m. Join us in remembering the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

The music department of Pella Christian High School invites you to join them for an evening of music focused on the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, December 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the PCHS Vermeer Auditorium.  The concert will present the message of Christmas in word and song.  Please join us for an evening filled with the musical joy recognized as part of the Christmas season.

Save the Date:  Freedom House Gala featuring Stasi Eldredge will be Thursday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. in Tamory Hall in Pella. More information will follow later.
