This morning the congregation is blessed with the joy of witnessing the baptism of Ella Joan, daughter of Steven and Kala Talsma. May God be praised for His covenant faithfulness!

C4C (Children for Christ) meets this morning on 3rd floor. Children 3 years old-PreKindergarten will be dismissed after the baptism solo.  Visitors are also welcome!  Parents may pick up their child after the service. Today’s leader is Emily Boender.

We invite visitors and members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs immediately after the morning worship service.

Church School Classes will meet from 10:50-11:35.

Choir Opportunity: You are welcome to join the Choir for this evening’s 6:00 p.m. combined worship service at Calvary CRC!  Please meet in Calvary’s sanctuary this evening at 5:05 for rehearsal.

At 6:00 p.m. we will meet at Calvary CRC to join Connect Church, Faith CRC and Calvary CRC for worship.  Pastor Paul Bradford will preach on the book of Ruth.

NEXT SUNDAY:  At 6:00 p.m. we will meet for combined worship again at Calvary CRC.  Pastor Nate Klingenberg will preach on the book of Samuel.

Christian Fellowship Hour will meet at 1:30 p.m.  All ladies are welcome to join us!

Kingdom Kids will meet from 5:30-6:50 p.m.  The theme is: Jesus Forgave Others/Jesus is Our Savior.

GEMS will meet 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Cadets will meet 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Men of Adult Choir will rehearse upstairs 7:00-7:40 p.m.

Adult Choir will rehearse in sanctuary 7:40-8:30 p.m.

OFFERING:  Our offering today will go to the “Pella II Cadets”.  Our offering March 1 will go to the “Pella II GEMS”.  Loose change and undesignated checks go towards the mission or organization of the week.  If you desire to contribute to Second Christian Reformed Church and its ministries, simply write “Pella 2” on the memo line of your check. ADVANCE NOTICES:

The P.E.T. Fundraising Auction will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at Pella Christian High School.   The meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will start at 7:00 p.m.  There are sign-up sheets downstairs for auction items and volunteers.

FROM COUNCIL:  Looking ahead to Tulip Time, the Council approved a request from Joel Vander Molen and Jon Neifert for the church facility to be used as a base for Tulip Time outreach events.  The church facility was used for the same purpose as well during the 2019 Tulip Time. Various outreach events are planned all three days.

DUTCH LETTERS:  Peoria Christian School Dutch Letter orders can be placed now through March 13 with any school family or call Michelle De Haan (641-660-7373).  Each Letter is $4.25 or 6 for $25 or  12 for $48.  Letters will be made Saturday, March 21, and need to be picked up that day at the school or at Chris and Lisa Ver Meer’s in Pella.  Questions – call Michelle De Haan.
