CRC NEWS AND PRAYER ITEMS

GROUNDWORK: Jesus is the Light of Life – Jesus’ saying “I am the light of the world” is a well-loved and beautiful word for us.  Join us as we study the original context of his teaching in John 8:12-59 to be reminded of our need for light and encouraged that the light of Christ will break through the darkness in our lives and world. Listen now at GroundworkOnline.com.

KIDS CORNER: Racing to Win – Check out our kid shows at www.kidscorner.net.  In this week’s episode, “Racing to Win,” Liz wants to drive a racing car that he finds in Grandpa’s barn.  Instead, Grandpa agrees to teach him to drive, but with an old lawn tractor.  Will this training be enough for Liz?  Will his time ever come to race that car? Listen now at kidscorner.net.

AT-HOME FAITH FORMATION TIP:  “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to  mourn and a time to dance.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4)  As we enter a new year full of unknowns, remind each other to take comfort in the knowledge that all your times are in God’s hand.
