818 Forward With Faith – “Pop-up Anniversary Showing”: Mark your calendars to come and view the construction progress at 812 Lincoln Street in Pella on August 17, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Donations in the amounts of $8.18, $81.80 or $818.00 will be entered into a prize drawing. In addition to the monetary donation, Cranberry Stone Bakery will once again be taking pre-orders for our anniversary fundraiser! Pre-order options are 6/$12 or 12/$24. Cupcake choices include: White Wedding Cake, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Strawberry Cream, Dutch Letter, Salted Caramel, and Oreo.  Orders need to be placed by August 10 to be picked up on August 17, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at 812 Lincoln Street in Pella. PELLA CHRISTIAN GRADE SCHOOL OPENINGS: (For the 2019-20 School Year)

Part Time Janitor – Pella Christian Grade School has a position opening for three hours each evening or morning following a school day.  There are no additional responsibilities during summer breaks or days that school is not in session.  The candidate will work under the supervision of PCGS custodian, Kevin Stursma.  The candidate can choose the three-hour window in between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 am.  Please contact Kevin Stursma with questions stursmak@pellachristian.net.

Food Service Opening  – Pella Christian Grade School has a three-day-a-week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday), three-hour-a-day food service worker opening (from 10:45-1:45 p.m.)  Primary responsibility includes washing dishes, serving K-2, and general clean up/help around the kitchen.   If you have questions about this opening please contact Taunya Van Maanen at vanmaanent@pellachristian.net for more information.

Bus Drivers – Full time and part time bus drivers are needed.  Qualified candidates will need to have or obtain a CDL license with passenger endorsement (preferably air brake endorsement, as well) and pass a DOT physical and drug and alcohol test.  Training is available to help get CDL, if they do not currently have one.  Contact Chris Fynaardt at either 641-295-4354 or fynaardtch@pellachristian.net for more information.

STUDY HALL MONITORS:  Pella Christian High School has an opening for a study hall monitor position for the 2019-20 school year.  This is a shared position that allows for some flexibility in hours.  A teaching certificate is not required.  If interested, please contact Principal Dan Van Kooten at vankootend@pceagles.org or at 641-204-2662.

IT’S BLUEBERRY TIME!  Fresh, delicious, hand-picked, straight from Michigan blueberries are being sold by Lake View Camp as a fundraiser for their summer camping ministry. A shipment of blueberries will be delivered on Saturday, August 3, to Pella. Have your orders in by July 29 for this delivery.
