Fellowship coffee is served downstairs at 9:00 a.m.

This is the last Sunday Pastor Jack and Karen will be with us. We will take some time to thank them at the end of the morning worship service.

We invite all visitors and all members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs immediately after the morning worship service.

At 6:00 p.m. we will join First CRC and Faith CRC at Faith CRC for worship.  Pastor Jack will preach on Psalm 90. The offering will be for Christian Schools International.  Faith CRC will be serving ice cream sundaes after the 6:00 evening service.  Please join us for some great fellowship and delicious ice cream!

NEXT SUNDAY: Next Sunday Pastor Will Verhoef will be preaching in the morning.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY:  We extend our Christian sympathies to Gary and Sandi Vander Molen on the death of Sandi’s father Ken Wielard and brother-in-law to Ray and Lois Klyn.  May God comfort them with the hope of eternal life in Jesus our Lord.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETNG: On Monday, July 23, we held a congregational meeting to discuss and vote on extending a call to Pastor Paul Bradford.  The vote passed and now Council is working through the process of formally extending a call to him. Please pray for our church and Pastor Paul as he considers accepting the call and how to move forward.

Pathways of Pella will be hosting its annual 5K Run/Walk for LIFE on Saturday, August 25.  Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at Pella Christian High with the race beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Registration fee is $25 by August 4 (t-shirt guaranteed); $30 after August 4 (no guarantee of shirt); Kids 10 and under walk/run free (no shirt).  Raise $200-and-up in pledges and you and your family walk/run for free, free t-shirt and eligible for prize drawings.  $500 in pledges or more – 2 free shirts and prize drawing.
