TODAY: Welcome to Worship!  We welcome all who worship with us today.

Fellowship coffee is served downstairs at 9:00 a.m.

We invite all visitors and all members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs immediately after the morning worship service.

There will be a Council Chat today at 11:00 a. m. in the sanctuary.

Missions Outreach will meet today at 4:30 p.m.

At 6:00 p.m. we will join First CRC and Faith CRC at First CRC for worship.  Pastor Jack will preach on Psalm 139. The offering will be for The Gideons.

NEXT SUNDAY:  At 6:00 p.m. we will join First CRC and Faith CRC at Faith CRC for worship.  Pastor Ryan Faber will preach on Psalm 19. The offering will be for Crossroads of Pella.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY:  We extend our Christian sympathies to Darrell and Bonnie Boot, on the death of Bonnie’s father, John Klyn, and a brother(in-law) to Sylvia Langstraat, Ray & Lois Klyn, Marion & Glenda Klyn, Syd and Mary Klyn, Les & Linda Klyn and Dorothy Rus.  May God comfort them with the hope of eternal life in Jesus our Lord.

MONDAY:  Perk Up will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Happy Joes.  All ladies are welcome.

WEDNESDAY: Please join us at 7:00 p.m. on July 18 at Calvary CRC to show appreciation to those who have helped at Cary Christian Center and to give you more information about what is happening there.  We hope to see you there.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING:  There will be a Congregational Meeting on Monday, July 23, at 7:00 p.m.  The purpose of this meeting is to vote to extend a call to Pastor Paul Bradford.  Absentee ballots will be accepted.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE: Our church is again partnering with the Pella Food Shelf in providing school supplies for local children going back to school in August. Would you be able to help by purchasing one or more of the items needed and bring them to church by July 29?  Please check out the list on the table downstairs.

CHURCH PHOTO DIRECTORY UPDATE:  It’s time to update our church photo directory again.  We will be adding updated photos and information to the current 3-ring binder directory.  If you want to update your photo and/or your information, this is your chance. You may submit your own photo or we will take it for you.  Melissa Tukker will be taking photos after church on July 22 and August 5.  You can sign up on the list in the narthex or the basement.  If you want to submit a photo, you can email it to bpierson@iowatelecom.net.  If it is a professional photo, please include permission from the photographer. If you want to update your information you can email it to the same address or there are forms in the basement and narthex.  If you don’t want to update your photo or information, that’s fine – what is currently in the book will remain there.  If you have questions, please talk to Melissa Tukker, Stephanie Roose, Paula Klyn or Susan Pierson.

IT’S BLUEBERRY TIME!  Fresh, delicious, hand-picked, straight-from-Michigan blueberries are being sold by Lake View Camp as a fundraiser for their summer camping ministry  The final shipment of blueberries will be delivered on Saturday, July 21, to Pella.  Have your orders in by July 16.  Order forms are on the table in the narthex and downstairs, on their website, www.lakeviewconference.com, or you can call their office at 628-2160.  Thank you for your continued support of Lake View’s camping ministry!

The Society Meeting for Peoria Christian School will be at Peoria CRC Monday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m.  Registration will follow the meeting at the Peoria Christian School.

PEORIA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL JOB OPENING:  Peoria Christian School is seeking a 75% Kindergarten/Pre-K teacher for the 2018-2019 school year.  Kindergarten is progressive, with three days a week first semester and adds a day each quarter for third and fourth quarters.  Pre-K joins the Kindergarten class three afternoons a week.  Early Childhood Endorsement preferred.  All interested applicants, please submit a resume to board@peoriachr.org or contact Melinda Vos.
