TODAY: Welcome to Worship!  We welcome all who worship with us today.

We invite all visitors and all members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs immediately after the morning worship service.

Adult Choir will meet at 5:00 this evening to rehearse for our 6:00 evening worship service and the 7:30 Bible League Summer Musical.

At 6:00 p.m. First CRC and Faith CRC will join us for worship at our church. Pastor Jack Vanden Heuvel will preach on Lord’s Day 50, Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread.

At our worship service this evening, Andrew Earnshaw, Bible League Director of Partner Relations, will give greetings and share the history of the Bible League.

You are invited and encouraged to attend the Bible League Summer Musical this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the First Reformed Church.  Our Adult Choir and the Praise Ringers Bell Choir from Leighton will be featured, along with a variety of other musical numbers.  With the 80th Anniversary observance of the founding of Bible League, Andrew Earnshaw, Director of Partner Relations will give greetings and share its history.  Please join us for an uplifting evening and be a blessing to Bible League International as the offering is taken in its support.

NEXT SUNDAY: At 6:00 p.m. we will join First CRC and Faith CRC at First CRC for worship.  Pastor Ryan Faber will preach on Lord’s Day 51.  The offering is for Bethany Christian Services.

FROM THE PASTORAL SEARCH COMMITTEE:  As many of you know, we brought in a Pastoral candidate a few weeks ago, Paul Bradford and his wife Tammy.  The purpose of that visit was to spend some time with the Search Committee and Council, as well as getting to know the Pella area a little.  Following that visit, the Search Committee has decided to invite them back for a return visit.  The purpose of this visit will be to be interviewed by the Council, to have the candidate preach, and to get to know the congregation a little.  The Bradfords will be in Pella July 6-8, with Pastor Bradford preaching in the A.M. service on July 8.  If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Search Committee. We will give you more details of the visit in the following weeks.

ANGEL TREE NOTE:  Angel Tree Camp will be in Pella from June 25-29.  We will be helping with crafts this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and will serve breakfast and supper on Thursday, the 28th.  Help is needed for crafts and meals.  Sign-up sheets are on the table downstairs.  Your help will be appreciated!

PELLA CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION:  Pella Christian High School will be holding registration for the 2018/19 school year July 9-12.  You may register Monday-Thursday during this time period between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  Registration hours will be extended Thursday, the 12th, to 8:00 p.m.  An additional option is to register remotely.  Visit the 2018/19 Registration Link anytime from June 25 – July 12 on the home page (under Quick Links) of the school website at www.pceagles.org.  Here you can access a variety of important information and print the form needed to register.  The Registration Form with payment must be received in the office or postmarked by July 12 to avoid the late fee.  Further details can be found in the letter mailed to families in May or by contacting the school office at 628-4440.

GATEWAY TO HOPE GARDEN TOUR– The Gateway to Hope Garden Tour is this coming weekend, June 29 through July 1.  It offers walk-throughs of four Pella area gardens and a tour of a Victorian Villa.  Hours are Friday, June 29, 3:00-8:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 30, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 1, 1:00-4:00 p.m.  The Friday and Saturday events include sales of garden art, ceramics, and Carol Van Klompenburg’s new book Tendng Beauty: Forty Moments in my Gardens.  Purchases and donations to the tour will fund Friends of Chinandega, a ministry of Faith Christian Reformed Church.  Details are available at friendsofchinandega.wordpress.com and in area media.

IT’S BLUEBERRY TIME!  Fresh, delicious, hand-picked, straight-from-Michigan blueberries are being sold by Lake View Camp as a fundraiser for their summer camping ministry  The blueberries will be delivered on Saturday, July 7, and Saturday, July 21, to Pella.  Have your orders in by July 2 for the first delivery, and July 16 for the second delivery to be sure you get your blueberries.  The order forms can be found on the table in the narthex and downstairs, can be downloaded from their website, www.lakeviewconference.com, or you can call their office at 628-2160.  Thank you for your continued support of Lake View’s camping ministry!

PEORIA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL JOB OPENING:  Peoria Christian School is seeking a 75% Kindergarten/Pre-K teacher for the 2018-2019 school year.  Kindergarten is progressive, with three days a week first semester and adds a day each quarter for third and fourth quarters.  Pre-K joins the Kindergarten class three afternoons a week.  Early Childhood Endorsement preferred.  All interested applicants, please submit a resume to board@peoriachr.org or contact Melinda Vos.
