PET AUCTION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  Please sign up in the church basement if you are able to help with food service and clean-up for the March 27 PET Auction.

NEW — VOLUNTEER REMINDERS:  Starting this week, email reminders for Sunday greeter, nursery, usher and coffeetime volunteers will be sent to members scheduled in these roles.  This is part of the Breeze rollout (referenced in Council reports).  Reminders will be sent on Thursdays for those scheduled on the upcoming Sunday.  The subject line will be “Reminder (Pella Second Christian Reformed Church)”.  The email text will indicate your role for that Sunday.  Note that schedules will continue to be published in the bulletin and newsletter.  The intent of these reminders is to be an added convenience.  More about Breeze to come!

PRAYER MEETINGS:  We are again beginning a prayer meeting for the congregation of Pella II.  Our first meeting will be Monday, March 18, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the parsonage.  Beginning in April we’ll meet the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the parsonage.  We understand that the power and wisdom of God released through prayer are essential for the future of our congregation.  We invite all to join us.

DESSERT WITH THE BRADFORDS:  We have scheduled two more dates to have coffee and dessert with our church family at the parsonage in order to get to know everyone better and to hear your hopes and dreams for Pella II.  Middle and High School youths are also welcome to join us. If you have not yet attended, please sign up for Sunday, March 24, 3:00-4:30 p.m. or Thursday, April 4, 6:30-8:00 p.m., on the sheets in the narthex or downstairs, or email secretary@pella2crc.org.  If you need a ride, contact Ruth at the church office and it will be arranged.  – Blessings in Christ, Paul & Tammy Bradford

TRANSFORM 2019:  The Well is excited to hold the second annual Transform event on May 6-11, 2019.  Last year 25 projects were finished in Marion County by 250 volunteers!  How neat it was to see relationships built, homes restored, parks cleaned, trees planted and our communities connected through service.  We truly believe lives are transformed when we put our faith into action and serve.  We hope to accomplish even more this year with an emphasis on the Pella and Knoxville areas.  We are looking for project leaders, projects to complete, and volunteers!  If you’d like to volunteer to be part of the transformation for one day, a morning, the entire week, alone, or as a team, fill out a volunteer profile for Transform at thewelliowa.org/acts/transform.  See bulletin board for more information.

MAKING SUMMER PLANS?  Don’t forget about summer camp!  Lake View Camp offers day camps, overnight camps, service opportunities and grandparent/grandchild camps. More information and registration are available at www.lakeviewconference.com.
