TODAY: Welcome to Worship!  We welcome all who worship with us today!

A special welcome to Mr. Al Bandstra as he brings God’s Word this morning.  “Mr. B.” taught 5th grade at Pella Christian Grade School for 25 years and has just returned from Korea where he taught and trained students for the past ten years.

Fellowship coffee is served downstairs at 9:00 a.m.

We invite visitors and members of the congregation to a Fellowship Coffee downstairs after the morning worship service.

At 11:00 a.m. the annual Tulip Time Worship Service will be held at the Pella Christian High School Auditorium.  Come hear the inspirational voices of both public and Christian school choirs along with a time of vibrant praise.  The speaker will be Kitty Kock, who has a compelling message that will inspire and encourage young and old alike. Kitty is a survivor of Japanese Internment Camps during World War II.  Be a part of the community of churches here in Pella as we celebrate God’s goodness together again this year!

The annual Pella Christian High instrumental Pops Concert will be held on Tuesday,  May 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.  You will want to reserve a table in advance or you may sit on the bleachers.  Reservation deadline is Friday, May 10, at 9:00 a.m.  This year the band will be performing several favorites including “The Lion King” and “Frozen” and many more.  This is a great event for multiple generations and the whole family.  Free popcorn and ice cream sundaes!!

The 79th Annual Commencement Exercises of Pella Christian High School will take place on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the PCHS gymnasium.  Pastor Doug Van Der Pol will give the address, and Parker Schnell is the 2019 class representative.

Marriage Night:  On Friday, May 31, you are invited to attend a Marriage Night simulcast at First CRC in Pella.  The simulcast includes Francis & Lisa Chan, Les & Leslie Parrott and comedian Michael Jr as speakers.  The evening begins at 5:45 p.m. with check-in and a meal.  The three-hour simulcast will begin at 7:00 p.m.   The cost for this entire night is $15 per person.  For more information, feel free to contact us at firstcrc@iowatelecom.net or visit www.marriagenight.org to register.
