NEWS FROM THE WELL: (1) We are excited to celebrate the upcoming graduation of 11 students in the Getting Ahead (GA) Program. GA provides our clients with the tools and a plan that helps guide them in stabilizing their future. Each year we’ve transitioned our graduates from GA into a program called Connections that links the graduate with mentors to assist them in the implementation of their personal plan. Each student will be assigned two mentors that meet with them 1-2 times per month over the year by providing encouragement, support, and prayer. Training is provided and several meetings will be guided by a facilitator. We would like to have the mentors identified and given the opportunity to meet their student on January 8. We ask that you prayerfully consider becoming a mentor. Please contact Tabitha Vos at the Well (641-621-0164 x709) by Monday, December 18 to get involved.

(2) Looking for a place to meet people and serve others? There is a place for you to volunteer at The Well. We have a wide variety of volunteer positions that are waiting for someone with just your heart and skill set. Go to to fill out a volunteer application today! The next volunteer orientation is Tuesday, December 12 at noon.
