SIGNING OF BIBLES: In recent years we have begun the practice of giving those who make public profession of faith a Study Bible signed by the members/families of the congregation. In the narthex there are five Study Bibles for this purpose for the young adults who will be making public profession of their faith on December 10.

No postage or envelopes are needed. Mission Outreach will handle the mailing. Missionaries often tell us that they enjoy getting cards from Pella II. Please show them your support with a card.

NEWS FROM THE WELL: (1) We are excited to celebrate the upcoming graduation of 11 students in the Getting Ahead (GA) Program. GA provides our clients with the tools and a plan that helps guide them in stabilizing their future. Each year we’ve transitioned our graduates from GA into a program called Connections that links the graduate with mentors to assist them in the implementation of their personal plan. Each student will be assigned two mentors that meet with them 1-2 times per month over the year by providing encouragement, support, and prayer. Training is provided and several meetings will be guided by a facilitator. We would like to have the mentors identified and given the opportunity to meet their student on January 8. We ask that you prayerfully consider becoming a mentor. Please contact Tabitha Vos at the Well (641-621-0164 x709) by Monday, December 18 to get involved.
(2) Looking for a place to meet people and serve others? There is a place for you to volunteer at The Well. We have a wide variety of volunteer positions that are waiting for someone with just your heart and skill set. Go to www.thewelliowa.org to fill out a volunteer application today! The next volunteer orientation is Tuesday, December 12 at noon.
