ADVANCE NOTICES:

Family Faith Formation Seminar:  Living Into Our Faith – One Generation to the Next – The home is the most important influence on a child’s faith.  But talking about faith does not come easily to every parent or caregiver, and in today’s busy families, time is not always a friend.  How can the church support families in teaching their children how to live into their faith?  Peoria CRC invites you to a seminar on Saturday, October 6, 7:00 p.m. at Peoria Christian School gym on Family Faith Formation led by Trudy Ash from Faith Formation Ministries. She will be sharing a new practical resource on Family Faith Formation as well as walk through some basic shifts in our thinking that have the potential to build a stronger, more vibrant faith formation culture in your congregation.  All are welcome!  There is no charge and coffee will be provided.

PCGS Open House – You are invited to Pella Christian Grade School’s Open House.  Phase 3 is complete!  Come see our new space.  Please join us for an Open House on Saturday, October 6, from 9:30-11:00 a.m.  The entire community is welcome!  A very special thank you to all of our donors!

Pathways of Pella will have their annual Fall Fundraising Banquet on October 20.  The event is free (opportunity for financial support will be given) and will be held at Federated Fellowship, Pella, beginning at 6:00 p.m.  You will hear from Senator Amy Sinclair on the importance of Prolife legislation, and also about the changes made at Pathways of Pella this year.  This year’s theme is Rustic Elegance.  Join us for an evening out with food, fellowship and fun.  To reserve your spot call 628-4827 or email marilyn@pathwayspella.org by October 15.
